EFA's, essential fatty acids. Those trying to sell flaxseed oil and bran will tell you, falsely, that flaxseed has the highest omega 3, linolenic acid of any oil available. They lie. Sea Buckthorn seed oil has the highest. 'They' say flaxseed has a ratio of 18:3 of EFA's in 100 grams, which is 3.5 oz. These EFA's are Omega 3 and Omega 6, linolenic and linoleic acids.

Blue Sage Naturals Sea Buckthorn Seed oil has a ratio of 34:36 of the EFA's. Does anyone remember the old song, 'anything you can do I can do better'?

Well this certainly applies for Blue Sage Naturals' Sea Buckthorn CO2 extracted oils. Both of them. And with a lot less needed. With flaxseed you need to take one tablespoon a day to get the measly benefits it gives you.

With Blue Sage Naturals' Sea Buckthorn Seed and Sea Buckthorn Berry oils all that is needed to take is 1 teaspoon to get double the effect of what some people are trying to get from flaxseed. And not only that, but you are not unbalancing your body!

Sea Buckthorn oils have been PROVEN, by scientists all over the world, to boost the immune system, heal vaginal infections, heal mucous membranes, stomach ulcers, radiation, tumors, eczema and dermatitis of all kinds. You will not find another oil that has done so much healing for so many people.

And lets get the spelling correct here. Sea Buckthorn oils have erythrodiol, not the 'erithrodiol' spelling so many are using on their sites because they are copying from each other.
From this website:
http://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/cabi/bjn/2004/00000092/00000004/art00010 Comes this: 'It can be concluded that oleanolic acid and erythrodiol may have interesting therapeutic potential as new vasodilator drugs, thus protecting the cardiovascular system'.

Here's more. Oral application of Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil, which is high in Omega 7 [palmitoleic acid-a type of oil], considerably improved chronic vaginal inflammation in three severe cases.

Almost nothing compares to Sea Buckthorn for its antioxidant powers and ability to quell internal and external inflammation. Omega 7, which is very rare to find ANYWHERE, let alone a plant!, are found almost exclusively in this plant and none other throughout the world. The strong antioxidative activity of Sea Buckthorn's Omega 7 oils is due to the high content of tocopherols, tocotrienols and carotenoids. All the natural isomers of vitamin E are present in Sea Buckthorn oils, as are the major antioxidant vitamins, including carotenes (like beta-carotene), vitamin C and all of the tocopherols (vitamin E). Working synergistically, vitamin E and carotenoids present in Sea Buckthorn's Omega 7 protect lipids and membrane structure from UV radiation and free radical damage, and normalize the body's inflammatory pathways.

I have had a Baylor University researcher tell me Relief N Rescue™ is wonderful, that it should stop the itch of several biting insects. This person also told me they have a theory that Sea Buckthorn Seed oil acts as a vasodilator. Which means it relaxes the vein and blood vessels in the body. This researcher also said because of that, OUR Sea Buckthorn seed oil will also take whatever is with it deep into the body.

Which is one of the reasons I am *very* careful in what I add to any product with Sea Buckthorn in it. I'm not afraid of chemicals, but I certainly don't want them in my body anymore than is absolutely necessary. I think most of us have compromised immune systems as it is from all the junk we've eaten and how we haven't really taken care of ourselves. And before you protest that you do, what about that cream you tried, because it 'smelled good', or the fast food you ate or the lettuce/salad you ate that wasn't raised organically?
